In response to the way Jesus has served all of us by His perfect sacrifice on the cross, please consider serving others in one or more ministries. comfort dog ministry
Tabitha "Tabby" Comfort Dog is a trained Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog. She interacts with people at churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, events, and in disaster response situations.
Tabby is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help.

Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) meets monthly for fellowship, spiritual growth and service.
ST. PAUL'S SOCIAL MINISTRY TEAM
Collect food, clothing and household items to be distributed to organizations, churches and individuals in need.
MISSION SUPPORTER
Lead St. Paul’s in reaching out to the world, both locally and far away, through financial support, mission work and other activities.

HEALTH MINISTRY
St. Paul's hosts annual flu shots and periodic blood drives, coordinates visits from the St. Luke's Mobile Mammography Van, and maintains a medical equipment inventory for members to borrow.
View Photo Inventory | St. Paul's members may borrow items for free from our inventory of at-home medical equipment. Items available for short-term use include wheelchairs, walkers, lift chairs, shower chairs, an electric scooter, various canes, bedside table, IV stands, and more. COLLEGE CONNECTION
Join with our connection team to send personal cards and care packages to our college students, offer a prayer ministry, and help students stay connected to their home church.
CONFIRMAND PRAYER PARTNERS
Encourage youth by praying regularly for them in personal prayer time and sending cards on special dates, such as birthdays and Baptismal dates. Read more.
MEAL MINISTRY
Do you enjoy cooking? Join this vital ministry serving those recovering from illness, surgery, childbirth, or special circumstances. Team members select a date that fits their schedule and deliver to the person in need. No time to cook? Prepared grocery store foods and restaurant deliveries are also welcome. Sign up here.
MILITARY MINISTRY
Provide encouragement and appreciation to the St. Paul’s men and women serving in the U.S. Military through notes of encouragement and special packages.
MOMS IN PRAYER
Mothers gather for an hour once a week Monday mornings at 8:00 a.m. to pray for their children, faculty, support staff, and needs of St. Paul’s school.
TABBY COMFORT DOG MINISTRY
A trained Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog who serves within St. Paul’s and to the greater community to show the mercy, compassion, presence and proclamation of Jesus Christ. Read more above in the Missions section.

Guide children in a week of spiritual development through stories, crafts, games, skits, music and snacks.
WOMEN’S PRAYER GROUP
The prayer group meets on Thursday evenings in the home of Gayle Truesdell.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Provide assistance to the Youth Director for various teen activities and events.

Be part of a group that witnesses the sanctity of human life through education, based on the Word of God; meets periodically for events.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEAM
Join teams who work together to lead children on Sunday mornings in large group praise and prayer, connect with the hearts of children in a small group, design a creative Bible-learning environment, and develop and implement special events throughout the year.

BREAD MINISTRY
Serve on a team to welcome guests, provide them with a loaf of bread and informative materials about our church, and encourage guests to return.
GREETERS
Provide a friendly, welcoming environment for guests as they enter the building and explore the facility. Register to help here.
NEW MEMBER MINISTRY
Welcome new members and help them become acquainted with the programs and other members of the congregation.
HELPING HANDS: WORSHIP
ACOLYTES
Light candles and assist with communion during worship, grades 6 to 8.
ALTAR GUILD
Prepare communion, change paraments, clean and maintain the altar area for worship.
FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST TEAM
Set up, serve food and coffee, clean up and greet members during Fellowship Breakfast on Sunday mornings.
H.I.S. PUPPETEERS (HANDS IN SERVICE)
Witness through the H.I.S. Puppeteer ministry to area churches and children (high school youth and adult leaders).
SOUND BOARD/VIDEO CAMERA OPERATORS
Operate the in-house sound board and video cameras during worship services and other special events.
USHERS
Greet and seat people, distribute worship folders and collect offerings. Register to help here.

BUS DRIVERS
Drive members between North and South campuses and other locations throughout the year.
COSTUMES/PROP DESIGN
Provide costumes and props needed for Sunday School, Breakfast in Bethlehem and other special events.
FUNERAL COORDINATORS
Periodically assist with the details of a funeral, such as recording the service, and other tasks to assist families.
GARDENERS
Care for outdoor flowers during the summer months.
HOSPITALITY
Periodically assist with the planning and preparation of receptions, meals and other special events.
MOPS CAREGIVERS
Provide safe, loving care for children while their moms attend Mothers of Preschoolers meetings on the first and third Thursday mornings.
NURSERY WORKERS
Provide safe, loving care for children while their parents attend worship and/or Bible class.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Take photographs of various happenings around St. Paul’s for publicity and promotion.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Provide assistance for events held periodically throughout the year, such as Easter Egg Hunt, Breakfast in Bethlehem, Christmas Tree Set-up and more
WEDDING COORDINATORS
Periodically assist couples with the details of their wedding service.

ARCHIVES
Assist in collecting and archiving photos, bulletins, CDs, and other materials about St. Paul’s for historical reference.
BULLETIN ASSEMBLY
Collate and assemble weekend worship bulletins on Friday mornings.
CEMETERY ASSOCIATION
The association maintains the St. Paul’s cemetery on Ballas Road.
COUNTING COMMITTEE
Serve on a team to count the weekend church offerings.
OFFICE VOLUNTEERS
Assist the church office with various tasks, such as bulletin printing, attendance data entry, plant watering, mailings, etc.
